Introduction to Hand Building Course with Hayley Jane Ceramics, Mount Florida Gallery and Studios.

Tuesday Evenings - 6-8pm.

£220 pp, all materials and firing included as well as refreshments.

I am delighted to offer a five week long workshop guiding you through a range of hand building techniques and helping you create your own project using these skills.

Please note: The maximum capacity for these workshops will be 2 so if you wish to come with a friend or family member please book both slots.

Week 1 & 2 - We will spend the session trying out the three main hand building techniques: pinching, coiling and slab building.

Week 3 - This session will be spent discussing and planning out a piece or project you would like to work on and getting started with this.

Week 4 - This session will see you finish up your piece/pieces in order to be dried and fired then glazed in week 4.

Week 5 - This session will be feature a short look into glazes and then you can try your hand at glazing your bisque fired works.

Pieces will then be glaze fired and ready for collection from the studio the following week.

Hand Building Sessions

Wednesday Evenings - 7-9pm.

£40 pp, per session, all materials and firing included as well as refreshments.

Join me for a a series of hand building sessions for those who have worked with clay before and are looking to concentrate on a project or particular piece.
Choose from a selection of glazes available and pick up your glazed piece from the studio the following week.
